'The Fantasticks' musical to be played in Williamsburg Library

The cast of "The Fantasticks."

"The Fantasticks" will be performed in two shows at the Williamsburg Regional Library at 7 p.m. Friday, May 25 and Saturday, May 26.

The director of the production will be Ryan Davy, 18, who is a resident of Williamsburg. He plans to study theater upon graduation in June.

The cast will feature several Tidewater area students as well as professional actors. Choreography will be led by Davy and Kristina McCloud.

The lead role of El Gallo will be played by actor and dancer Craig McCloud, a veteran of 40 stage productions.

Playing the role of Hucklebee is Williamsburg actor Joseph Dellinger, who has performed frequently at the Virginia Shakespeare Festival.

Seating will be on a first-come basis and a donation of $10 per seat is suggested. No advance tickets will be sold or reserved.

The library is at 515 Scotland St. in Williamsburg.
