Open government discussion to be held May 30 in Williamsburg Regional Library

A panel on open government will take place at 6:30 p.m. May 30 at the Williamsburg Regional Library.

The panel, titled “Open Government in Williamsburg,” is presented by the Virginia Coalition for Open Government, the City of Williamsburg and the "Virginia Gazette" and will discuss the issue of public access to government meetings, records and information.

VCOG Executive Director Megan Rhyne will moderate the panel, which will include communications specialist for the City of Williamsburg Kate Hoving, attorney for the City of Williamsburg Christina Shelton and "Virginia Gazette" reporter Cortney Langley.
