'Moonlight and Music' jam session set for June 3 at New Quarter Park

New Quarter Park will host a "Moonlight and Music" jam session from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Sunday, June 3.

Musicians and music lovers will play old-time blues and roots music in the picnic shelter area near the parking lot.

The public is invited to bring a guitar, fiddle or other acoustic instrument and join in the jam. Instrumentalists at all levels are welcome. The monthly jam sessions are lead by local instrumentalist and vocalist Joe Duggan.

Those who don’t play an instrument are welcome to come tap their toes and enjoy the sounds. The public is asked to bring a lawn chair or blanket for seating. Water, soda, candy and snacks are available in the park office. Alcoholic beverages are prohibited.

New Quarter Park is located in upper York County at 1000 Lakeshead Drive near the Queen’s Lake neighborhood.
