State of Virginia issues new veterans ID card
Gov. Bob McDonnell announced the launch of new ID cards for veterans on Wednesday, May 30.
The cards will be provided through the Department of Motor Vehicles in partnership with the Department of Veterans Services. By using the cards, veterans will have an easier time identifying themselves as veterans and receiving discounts throughout the state.
Applicants will need provide an unexpired state driver's license or ID card issued by the DMV, an application, a DD214, DD256 or WD AGO document along with paying a $10 fee.
