Southern Horizon to perform free concert of Civil War music on June 9
A concert of Civil War-era music performed by Southern Horizon will begin at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, June 9 in the Williamsburg Library Theatre.
The free concert will feature instruments, costumes and music from the period of 1816 through 1865.
The concert is made possible by a grant from Friends of Williamsburg Regional Library. It is part of the programming associated with the traveling exhibit, “Lincoln: The Constitution and the Civil War.”
The Williamsburg Regional Library is at 515 Scotland St. in Williamsburg.
