Piney Grove at Southall's Plantation offering tours
Tours of Piney Grove at Southall Plantation will be offered throughout June.
Guests will be able to tour Piney Grove, a National Register landmark, on Saturdays in June. The estate is part of Virginia's Civil War Trails, Virginia Birding and wildlife trails. It is also part of Southall's Plantations collection of antiques, gardens and historic buildings. Ashland, Ladysmith, Dower Quarter and Duck Church are the others.
Tours are being offered from 3-5 p.m. Saturday, June 9, June 16, June 23 and June 30. Group tours can be arranged for other dates as well.
Reservations must be made in advance. Packages that include staying at a historic bed and breakfast on the property are available.
The fee to attend the tour is $20 per person.
