Williamsburg City Council fills boards and commissions

The Williamsburg City Council recently announced new appointments and reappointments to various boards and commissions at its meeting on Thursday, June 14.

Effective on July 1, Tom Mainor will be appointed to the Colonial Group Home Commission for a four-year term to expire June 30, 2016; Kyra Cook will be appointed to the Library Board for a four-year term to expire June 30, 2016; Bob Leek will be appointed to the Williamsburg Area Arts Commission for a three-year term to expire June 30, 2015; Susan Branch Smith will be appointed to the Williamsburg Area Arts Commission for a one-year term to expire June 30, 2013; and Greg Granger will be appointed to the Regional Issues Committee for a one-year term to expire Dec. 31, 2013.

And effective July 1, Edith Chutkow will be reappointed to the Colonial Behavioral Health Board for a three-year term to expire June 30, 2015; William Carr and Thomas Gilman will be reappointed to the Economic Development Authority for four-year terms to expire June 30, 2016; Gwen Williams and Robert Taylor will be reappointed to the Finance and Audit Committee for two-year terms to expire June 30, 2014; and Esterine Moyler and Carl Ross will be reappointed to the Social Services Advisory Board for four-year terms to expire June 30, 2016.
