City of Williamsburg offers tips for dealing with storm debris

The City of Williamsburg suffered significant debris damage from thunderstorms that hit the area last week.

The city has several tips on avoiding tree service scams. Residents should ask if the tree service holds a International Society of Arboriculture certification and if the tree service belongs to any professional organizations.

Residents can also look through the business and telephone directories for ISA-certified arborists. 

The tree service companies shouldn't be paid until everything agreed upon is completed.
