William & Mary fraternity loses charter

The Grand Lodge of Theta Delta Chi International Fraternity voted in May to revoke the charter of the Epsilon Charge at the College of William & Mary.

The charter was revoked largely due to the decreasing size of the Epsilon Charge over the past several years, leading to diminished infrastructure and operations. The vote was conducted in accordance with the by-laws of Theta Delta Chi.

“Although it is with great sadness we see Epsilon enter a dormant chapter of its history, we will continue to look towards the horizon when Epsilon will rejoin the active ranks of Theta Delta Chi,” a statement from the 134th Grand Lodge said.

The College of William & Mary is located at 102 Richmond Road, in Williamsburg.
