13 Williamsburg runners complete Chesty Puller Memorial Twin Bridges 10K
Thirteen runners from Williamsburg completed the Chesty Puller Memorial Twin Bridges 10K Saturday, June 23 in the town of West Point.
The Williamsburg runners were: Paul Pelletier, 46 (39:34); Sonny Lowe, 50 (41:44); Glenn Muckley, 35 (44:39); Suzan Ramirez-Lowe, 44 (47:50); Jimmy C. Blount, 61 (52:16); Stephen Hathaway, 56 (56:04); Larry Arata, 67 (58:08); Jeramiah Hayes, 32 (59:23); Lloyd Chance, 40 (1:01:05); Rex Hoover, 49 (1:05:53); Bailey Young, 16 (1:11:12); Dale Young, 47 (1:17:16); and Lisa Young, 47 (1:19:48).
A total of 129 runners finished the 10-kilometer race. The proceeds from the race will benefit the West Point Historical Society.
Russell Reed of Onemo was the men’s overall winner with a time of 38:42, while Stephanie Cario of Mechanicsville was the winner in the women’s division in 43:45.
