d'ART's dog & cat photo contest deadline is July 28

The deadline to make a submission to the d'ART's Great American Family Dog & Cat Photo Contest is Saturday, July 28.

The contest is a collaboration between the d'ART Center and local humane societies to promote photography and the love of animals.

Guidelines for submissions are as follows: submission must be 3 inches by 5 inches or 4 inches by 6 inches prints (digital images will not be accepted); include name, phone number and pet's name on each submission; and include a self-addressed, stamped envelope for amateur entries.

A $5 entry fee must be paid for each entry.

Photos will be on exhibit from Aug. 4 to Aug. 31.
