DJ Montague Elementary School releases fourth-grade supply list

DJ Montague Elementary School released its list of required and optional supplies for fourth-grade students for the 2012-2013 school year.

Required items include:
Seven black-and-white composition notebooks, 24 No. 2 pencils, 10 glue sticks, one 250-count pack of wide-rule loose-leaf paper, a pencil pouch or box, one pack of markers, one pack of colored pencils, two highlighters and one pair of scissors.

Supplies may need to be replenished during the school year. A reminder will be sent home.

Item on the following wish list are optional. Donations of them to the school are appreciated:
Glue sticks, large boxes of tissues, antibacterial wipes, hand sanitizer, composition notebooks, dry erase markers and self-stick notepads (3 inches by 3 inches).

Parents should bring all school supplies to the open house from 4-6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 30.

The school asks parents to please not write their child's name on the items.

Special projects during the school year may require additional supplies. Teacher's will send letters to request donations.

The school year for Williamsburg-James City County Schools begins Tuesday, Sept. 4.
