DJ Montague Elementary School releases third grade supply list

DJ Montague Elementary School has released its supply list for children entering the third grade.

Required supplies include two black-and-white composition notebooks, five spiral notebooks, 24 No. 2 pencils with erasers, two plain pocket folders with three prongs, one pack of wide-ruled loose leaf paper, one pack of washable markers, one box of 8 or 12 count colored pencils, one bottle of glue, 9 glue sticks, one pair of scissors, one pack of yellow highlighters and one package of black dry erase markers.

Suggested items include a large box of tissues, 3-by-3 self stick note pads, a box of gallon-sized zipper bags, a box of sandwich-sized zipper bags and two three-ring binders for home.

Agendas will be provided by the school.

In the event classroom supplies need to be replenished during the school year, a reminder will be sent home.

Parents and child should bring all items to school during Open House from 4-6 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 30.

The 2012-13 school year for DJ Montague Elementary School students starts Tuesday, Sept. 4.
