Heritage Humane Society Golf Classic to be held Sept. 21

Join the Heritage Humane Society for its inaugural Heritage Humane Society Golf Classic on Friday, Sept. 21 at the Tradition Golf Club at Stonehouse, according to information on the society's Facebook events page.

The golf course is located at 9540 Old Stage Road, in Toano.

The cost is $100 per golfer or a foursome for $400.

Registration and practice takes place at 8 a.m., followed by a shotgun scramble at 9 a.m. Lunch, cart, use of the range and a sleeve of balls is included in the fees.

The tournament also features raffle prizes, mega-ticket sales and a hole-in-one contest that gives golfers the chance to win a new Toyota Camry.
