Girl Scout Council of Colonial Coast hosts Camp Skimino reunion Aug. 18

A Camp Skimino reunion will be held from 2-6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 18 at Camp Skimino, according to an announcement.

The Girl Scout Council of Colonial Coast will host the reunion.

Guests can view historical archives and participate in traditional camp activities like singalongs and making s'mores over a campfire.

Visitors also can exchange swaps, swim, canoe and tour the camp.

This reunion is one of four the Girl Scout Council of Colonial Coast is hosting in honor of the 100th anniversary of the Girl Scouts in 2012.

The next reunion is scheduled at the Camp Burkes Mill Pond in Gloucester on Saturday, Sept. 22. To register, email alumni@gsccc.org, or visit gsccc.org/camp-reunions.aspx for more information.
