Williamsburg youth softball league still has openings

Ten spots are still open for the Williamsburg Parks and Recreation girls fast pitch under-12 softball league.

The registration for the league must be done in person at the Quarterpath Recreation Center and there are no exceptions.

Registration is accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. The recreation center is located at 202 Quarterpath Road, Williamsburg.

The recreation center office is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The cost to register is $40 for the first child and $30 for the second child. The cost for each additional child in a family is $20.

Also, names are still being accepted for a waiting list for the U10 and U15 softball leagues.

Youth basketball league registration begins Saturday, Sept. 1 and the cost is $45 for the first child and $35 for a second child. Registration for each additional child in a family is $25.
