Kiwanis 33rd annual Shrimp Feast set for Sept. 15

Rain or shine, the Kiwanis Club of Williamsburg's 33rd Shrimp Feast will take place from 4-7 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 15.

The annual event will be held at the Jamestown 4-H Center, 3751 4-H Club Rd., Williamsburg. The all-you-can-eat fundraiser includes shrimp, hot dogs, hush puppies, baked beans, cole slaw, beverages, beer and live music by the Smith Wade Band.  

Shrimp Feast benefits Avalon, Bacon Street Community Action Agency and the 4-H Educational Center.  

To purchase tickets, go to www.williamsburgkiwanis.org/home/calendar/event/1/Shrimp-Feast-2012. Adult tickets purchased before Saturday, Sept. 1, are $25; after Sept. 1, $30; and $35 at the gate. Children ages 6-12 are admitted for $15, and those under 6 are admitted free of charge. VIP Tables, Super Tables and Oasis Tents are also available for purchase.
