4 Williamsburg runners complete Paavo Nurmi Half Marathon
Four runners from Williamsburg completed the Paavo Nurmi Half Marathon on Aug. 11 in Hurley, Wis.
George Neil, 64, completed the race in 1:35:21; Barbara Buehrle, 49, crossed the finish line in 2:04:46; Bill Cunningham, 53, finished in 2:13:21; and Mary Browder, 54, took 2:20:31.
A total of 152 runners finished the 13.1-mile race, which started at the 13.1-mark in Gile, and ended on Silver Street.
Andy Warren of Eau Claire, Wis., was the men's overall winner with a time of 1:18:41. Emmy Tuzee of Ironwood, Mich., won the women's category with 1:30:14.
