Google to Greatness workshop to be held Aug. 28
The Virginia Small Business Development Center of Hampton Roads will hold a free Google to Greatness workshop from 2-4 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 28 at The Community Building in Williamsburg.
Ray Sidney-Smith, president of W3 Consulting, will lead the seminar and present an overview of what Google has to offer small businesses at a low cost.
The workshop is geared to small business owners, entrepreneurs, office and retail managers, supervisors or administrative assistants. The focus of the session will be on the more than 40 services Google offers that are specifically tailored to running a small business, according to a press release.
Sponsors for the program are the Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce, Thomas Nelson Community College, the Small Business Administration and George Mason University.
Registrations must be received at least two business days before the event. Registration is available online by visiting hrsbdc.org. The workshop must meet minimum attendance requirements.
The Community Building is located at 401 N. Boundary St., Williamsburg.
