Patriots Triathlon on Sept. 8 at Anniversary Park

The Patriots Triathlon will take place Saturday, Sept. 8 at Anniversary Park in Williamsburg.   The triathlon is the 22nd event in the Virginia Triathlon Series. It will begin at 7 a.m. Online registration will run until 7 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 5. If spots are still open, on-site registration will be available until Friday, Sept. 7. The event will feature a 1.2-mile swim, a 58-mile bike ride and a 13.1-mile run.   The cost to enter is $200 and registration information can be found at setupevents.com.   In addition, the Patriots Sprint will be held Sunday, Sept. 9 at Anniversary Park. Registration is open online until 7:30 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 6.   On-site registration will be open the day of the events if spots are still open.
