Ten Williamsburg runners complete Surfers Healing 5K at the Beach

Ten runners from Williamsburg completed the Surfers Healing 5K at the Beach on August 18 in Virginia Beach.

The Williamsburg runners were: Braden Troy-Wilson, 14, who finished with a time of 22:14; Dena Goble, 42, (24:10); Michael Kenneth Wilson, 48, (24:24); Rogina E. Troy, 47, (31:11); Krystal Kosanovich, 27, (36:24); Elizabeth McKenna, 47, (36:56); Lauren Pallas, 9, (40:33); Erin Pallas, 39, (40:34); Carmen Maritza Garcia, 49, (56:57); and Monica Louise Massey, 46, (56:57).

A total of 375 runners finished the 5K race, which was held on Fourth Street Boardwalk. The proceeds of the race went to the Autism Society, Tidewater Virginia and Surfers Healing VB.

David Dierstein, of Virginia Beach, was the men's overall winner with a time of 17:35, while Tricia Lee, also of Virginia Beach, was the winner in the women's division finishing with a time of 19:46.
