York High School girls volleyball to play Jamestown Sept. 4

York High School's girls volleyball team will play host to Jamestown Tuesday, Sept. 4 in a 6:30 p.m. Bay Rivers District match.

York lost its opening match of the season while Jamestown is coming off of a three-game win over Smithfield. The Eagles won 25-12, 25-10, 25-14 and are 2-0 this year.

York will play later in the week as well when it battles Smithfield Thursday, Sept. 6 in a 6:30 p.m. match. The Falcons play at Poquoson Tuesday, Sept. 11 at 6:30 p.m. and will play at home against New Kent in a 6:30 p.m. match Thursday, Sept. 13.

Jamestown will play against Poqouson Thursday, Sept. 6 and at New Kent Tuesday, Sept. 11. The Eagles host Bruton Wednesday, Sept. 12. All three matches will begin at 6:30 p.m.
