Molly McIver Emmett of Williamsburg earns Dean's Award at Colgate University

Molly McIver Emmett, of Williamsburg, received the dean's award for academic excellence during the 2012 spring term of her senior year at Colgate University.

To be eligible for the award, Colgate students must achieve a 3.3 or higher GPA while enrolled in four courses.

Emmett, a graduate of Lafayette High School, concentrated in peace and conflict studies while at Colgate.

Colgate University is in Hamilton, N.Y.
