Eleven Williamsburg participants complete Patriots Half 2012

Eleven participants from Williamsburg completed the Patriots Half 2012 on Sept. 8 in Williamsburg.

The Williamsburg participants were Adam Otstot, 4:14:04 (32:10 swim, 2:21:57 bike, 1:17:27 run); Chris Haas, 5:32:16 (39:02 swim, 2:43:49 bike, 2:02:56 run); James Findley, 5:33:42 (42:58 swim, 2:48:53 bike, 1:54:05 run); Tricia Klock, 5:41:25 (46:53 swim, 2:52:26 bike, 1:56:20 run); Justin Highley, 5:43:32 (48:30 swim, 2:59:53 bike, 1:50:16 run); Paul Silver, 5:52:23 (48:58 swim, 2:55:53 bike, 2:01:04 run); Martin Moreno, 5:59:53 (50:36 swim, 2:54:20 bike, 2:04:40 run); Todd Folmsbee, 6:41:44 (39:55 swim, 2:57:51 bike, 2:53:02 run); Richard Schneider, 6:50:20 (50:13 swim, 3:25:57 bike, 2:20:52 run); Ralph Buehrle, 6:50:25 (46:25 swim, 3:17:52 bike, 2:38:28 run); and Jeffrey Buffkin, 7:10:18 (40:48 swim, 3:43:23 bike, 2:39:33 run).

A total of 412 participants joined this race, which is composed of 1.2-mile swim course, 12-mile bike course and 13.1-mile run. The event benefits the Special Operations Warrior Foundation.

Otstot was the men's overall winner, while Jordan McAmmond, of Greensboro, N.C., was the winner in the women's division with a total time of 5:16:15.
