Lafayette girls volleyball falls to Tabb in 5 sets

The Lafayette High School girls volleyball team fell to Tabb in a tightly contested five-set match Sept. 13.

Lafayette won the opener 25-22, but Tabb bounced back in the next two sets, winning 25-21 and 25-16.

The Rams forced a fifth set with a 25-22 win. Tabb secured the victory with a 15-12 win in the deciding set.

The Tigers improved to 5-4 overall and are 2-4 in the Bay Rivers District.

Tabb will play at Grafton on Tuesday, Sept. 18 and will play York on Tuesday, Oct. 2. The Tigers will play against Grafton at home Thursday, Oct. 18. All three matches are scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m.

Lafayette will play at York on Thursday, Sept. 20 and will play against Grafton at home Tuesday, Oct. 9. The Rams will play York at home Tuesday, Oct. 23. All three matches will begin at 6:30 p.m.
