Ten Williamsburg runners complete Bay Days 8K

Ten athletes from Williamsburg completed the Bay Days 8K on Sept. 9 in Hampton.

The runners from Williamsburg were Jeffrey Dominguez, 35, who finished with a time of 37:59; Tim Morgan, 43, 38:21; Jackson Sasser, 36, 40:00; Jean Troutman, 49, 45:08; Ashleigh Burns, 32, 45:50; William Harty, 46, 45:50; Shirley Stephens, 55, 47:12; Carlos Bada, 40, 48:11; Sydney Carnifax, 20, 53:51; and Stacy Arnold, 35, 1:07:03.

A total of 172 finished the 8K race, which was held at Downtown Hampton.

Edward Rietscha, of Hampton, was the men's overall winner with a time of 28:34, while Christine Schaffner, of Yorktown, was the winner in the women's category with a time of 38:46.
