Seven Williamsburg runners complete Richmond Tri Club Sprint
Seven athletes from Williamsburg completed the Richmond Tri Club Sprint presented by 3Sports on Sept. 16 in Richmond.
The runners from Williamsburg were Corey Miller, 26, who finished with time of 59:34; Connie Glueck, 48, 1:04:54; Avery Gillem, 15, 1:05:16; Michael Glueck, 51, 1:14:36, (6:23 swim, 37:36 bike, 26:35 run); Richard Gillem, 47, 1:19:08, (6:02 swim, 43:17 bike, 27:34 run); Mitchell Gillem, 10, 1:19:23, (5:37 swim, 43:58 bike, 27:33 run); and James Eadie, 70, 1:35:41, (6:18 swim, 43:28 bike, 38:32 swim).
A total of 252 finished the 300-meter swim, 20K bike, 5K run race, which was held at Shady Grove YMCA.
Michael Harlow, of Richmond, was the men's overall winner with a time of 51:23, while Julie Patterson, of Richmond, was the winner in the women's category with a time of 55:47.
