William and Mary women's soccer holds top spot in Mid-Atlantic division

The William and Mary College women's soccer team is still the top team in the National Soccer Coaches Association of America/Mid-Atlantic Regional rankings.

The Tribe is ranked No. 1 in the region. Two other Colonial Athletic Association teams are in the top 10 as well. The University of North Carolina-Wilmington is third and Drexel is sixth.

William and Mary is 7-3 overall and 1-0 in the CAA after knocking off James Madison on Sept. 23. Emory Camper and Nicole Baxter scored goals in the victory.

The Tribe will be back in action Friday, Sept. 28 when the team faces George Mason in a 7 p.m. road game.
