Two Williamsburg runners complete The Genworth Virginia 10 Miler
Two athletes from Williamsburg completed the The Genworth Virginia 10 Miler on Sept. 29 in Lynchburg.
The runners from Williamsburg were John Rosenberger, 45, 1:20:10; and Jackson Sasser, 36, 1:21:00.A total of 1,291 finished the 10 miles race, which was held at E.C. Glass High School.
Julius Kogo, of Chapel Hill, was the men's overall winner with a time of 47:48, while Hellen Jemutai, of Chapel Hill, was the winner in the women's category with 55:51.
