Two Williamsburg runners complete Bank of America Chicago Marathon
Two athletes from Williamsburg completed the Bank of America Chicago Marathon on Oct. 7.
The runners from Williamsburg were Richard Schneider, 65, who finished with a time of 4:57:22; and Katherine Whitaker, 22, 5:34:30.
A total of 51,020 finished the 26.2 miles race, which was held at Grant Park in Chicago.
Tsegaye Kebede, of Ethiopia, was the men's overall winner with a time of 2:04:38, while Atsede Baysa, of Ethiopia, was the winner in the women's category with a time of 2:22:03.
