Williamsburg runner completes Bark in the Park 5k Doggy Dash

Wendy Fite, 54, of Williamsburg, completed the Bark in the Park 5k Doggy Dash on Oct. 7 in Chesapeake with a time of 24:01.

Organizers said 165 runners finished the 5K race, which was held at Chesapeake City Park.

Adan Negrete-Hendrie, of Norfolk, was the overall winner with a time of 20:27. Carmen Baxter of Suffolk won the women's division in 19:21.
