Williamsburg Regional Library to hold African art survey Nov. 5
Williamsburg Regional Library's Centuries of Art @ Your Library program will present African Art: Mirage on the Sahara? Timbuktu and Mali from 7:30-9 p.m. Monday, Nov. 5 at the library.
Richard Woodward, curator of African art at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts, will present the program, which is a survey of the history of art and culture in Timbuktu and Mali throughout history.
The free event is for all ages and will be held in the library's Williamsburg Theatre Room.
The library is at 515 Scotland St., Williamsburg.
