Williamsburg runner completes South Norfolk Jordan Bridge Bash & River Run 5K

One athlete from Williamsburg completed the South Norfolk Jordan Bridge Bash & River Run 5K on Oct. 27 in Chesapeake.

Jim Hopkins, 57, finished with a time of 27:48.

According to South Norfolk Jordan Bridge Bash & River Run 5K organizers, a total of 190 runners finished the 5K race, which was held at South Norfolk Jordan Bridge.

Kyle Oakes, of Chesapeake, was the men's overall winner with a time of 18:51, while Susan Hagel, of Norfolk, was the winner in the women's category finishing with a time of 24:31.
