27 Williamsburg runners complete Marine Corps Marathon

Twenty seven athletes from Williamsburg completed the Marine Corps Marathon Oct. 28 in Arlington.

The runners from Williamsburg and their finishing times were Dov Troup, 50, 3:22:33; Darrin Denny, 47, 3:47:31; Richard Marrs, 34, 3:54:39; Larry Golub, 51, 3:55:03; Niklas McMurray, 27, 3:59:26; Pamela Eddy, 52, 4:05:13; Ammon Young, 35, 4:23:59; Shannon Barnhill, 52, 4:25:03; Lorraine Perkins, 46, 4:26:51; Christopher Lucas, 47, 4:32:26; Nancy Duryea, 50, 4:33:41; Bob Abdo, 62, 4:35:18; Whitney Ball, 10, 4:40:50; Allison Bell, 24, 4:45:35; Donna Fontes, 48, 4:45:43; Mark Mollner, 42, 4:46:30; Allison Butler, 47, 4:54:33; Eyrun Magnusdottir, 48, 4:54:36; Bryan Grappe, 43, 5:05:58; Bruce Zophy, 58, 5:13:07; Claiborne Rogers, 37, 5:18:32; Kelley Quinzio, 20, 5:29:46; Nancy Dodenhoff, 49, 5:31:19; Elizabeth Quinzio, 50, 5:34:27; Harry Buser, 46, 5:43:25; Jordan Mills, 29, 5:50:54; and Dane Butler, 16, 5:53:28.

Race organizers said 23,520 runners finished the 26.2-mile race.

Augustus Maiyo, of Colorado Springs, Colo., won the race with a time of 2:20:20. Hirut Guanqul, of Ellicott City, Md., won the women's division in 2:42:03.
