Sipping & Supping for the Holidays events scheduled
The Sipping & Supping for the Holidays event, sponsored by the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, will be held from 3:30-4:15 p.m. Friday, Nov. 23, Friday, Nov. 30 and Friday, Dec. 7 at DeWitt Wallace Decorative Arts Museum in Williamsburg.
According to the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation, "This is a guided tour of the museum's ceramic galleries, where you will learn about the 18th-century holiday dining customs and the dishes, decorations and table settings used to impress colonial guests. Reservation is required."
DeWitt Wallace Decorative Arts Museum is at 326 W. Francis St., Williamsburg.
The Colonial Williamsburg Foundation operates Colonial Williamsburg. It is a nonprofit, private organization that also sells licensed products and Williamsburg reproductions. It operates hotels and other tourist amenities, in addition to few smaller museums. Colin Campbell is the foundation's president.
