Lafayette grad Crew contributes to Virginia Wesleyan College victory

Lafayette High School graduate Art Crew played for Virginia Wesleyan College in a 73-67 win at home against conference opponent Roanoke College on Nov. 28 at The Batten Center in Virginia Beach, according to Virginia Wesleyan College's website.

The senior guard helped the Marlins improve to 4-0 on the season and 1-0 in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference.

Crew is a senior guard for Virginia Wesleyan College. He is a 2009 graduate of Lafayette High School, where he was 2007-2008 Virginia Group AA All-State first team honoree and 2008 Virginia Gazette Player of the Year. The Williamsburg native, an accounting major, is the son of Arthur and Pamela Crew.
