Young Emerging Professionals seek help building holiday float Nov. 30

The Young Emerging Professionals of Williamsburg has scheduled a float-building event for Friday, Nov. 30.

The event will start at 6 p.m. at 3528 Hunter's Ridge, Williamsburg.

According to an announcement from the group, help is needed to assemble the YEP's Williamsburg Christmas parade float. Refreshments will be provided. Volunteers are asked to wear clothing they don't mind getting paint on. Those with electric power tools are asked to bring them.

Young Emerging Professionals of Williamsburg aims to contribute to the economic and social vitality of the Peninsula area of Virginia's Hampton Roads by providing a forum in which young professionals can develop socially, professionally and civically in a casual yet professional atmosphere.
