Watson announces bid for re-election to House of Delegates
Mike Watson officially announced his bid for re-election to the House of Delegates at a recent event at Busch Gardens in Williamsburg.
Watson joined by Governor Bob McDonnell, Secretary of Education Lisa Fornash, local elected officials and numerous colleagues from the General Assembly for the announcement, according to a press release.
"When I came to you 18 months ago, I promised that I would place my focus on economic and job growth and getting our young citizens an education that would prepare them for the jobs that actually exist," Watson said in the press release. "If you look at my legislation, my budget initiatives, and my efforts, that is exactly what I have done. But, there is much more for me to do."
Guests and their families enjoyed refreshments and were invited to enjoy the evening in Busch Gardens Christmas Town.
