The following men's basketball players, all with Williamsburg high school ties, have scheduled action this week:

Justin Anderson, University of Virginia
Position: Guard
High school: Montrose Christian School

About Anderson: Anderson is a freshman guard for the University of Virginia. He is a 2012 graduate of Montrose Christian School in Rockville, where he was Gatorade Maryland Boys Basketball Player of the Year as a senior. Anderson also earned first-team Washington Post All-Metropolitan honors for 2011-2012 and was named Most Outstanding Player of the Iolani Classic in Hawaii in December 2011. The Montross native is the son of Edward and Kim Anderson.

Doug Browman, University of Virginia
Position: Guard
High school: Montrose Christian School

About Browman: Browman is a senior guard for the University of Virginia. He is a 2009 graduate of Montrose Christian School in Rockville, where he earned scholar athlete honors. Browman is from Midlothian and is the son of Doug and Barbara Browman.

Art Crew, Virginia Wesleyan College
Position: Guard
High School: Lafayette High School
This week: Thursday, Dec. 20, at Wesley College
About Crew: Crew is a senior guard for Virginia Wesleyan College. He is a 2009 graduate of Lafayette High School, where he was 2007-2008 Virginia Group AA All-State first team honoree and 2008 Virginia Gazette Player of the Year. The Williamsburg native, an accounting major, is the son of Arthur and Pamela Crew.
