Lafayette grad Crew plays in Virginia Wesleyan loss to Wesley

Lafayette High School graduate Art Crew contributed two points in Virginia Wesleyan College's 72-70 loss to Wesley College on Dec. 20 at Wentworth Gymnasium in Dover, Del.

The Virginia Wesleyan College senior guard also recorded four assists and a steal for the Marlins, who are 7-2 on the season, according to the college's website.

Virginia Wesleyan College's next game is at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 30 on the road against Emory University.

Crew is a 2009 graduate of Lafayette High School, where he was 2007-2008 Virginia Group AA All-State first team honoree and 2008 Virginia Gazette Player of the Year. The Williamsburg native, an accounting major, is the son of Arthur and Pamela Crew.
