Williamsburg athletes in action: College basketball

These men's basketball players, both with Williamsburg high school ties, have scheduled action this weekend:

Justin Anderson, University of Virginia
Position: Guard
High school: Montrose Christian School
This week: Saturday, Dec. 22, vs. Old Dominion
About Anderson: Anderson is a freshman guard for University of Virginia. He is a 2012 graduate of Montrose Christian School in Rockville, where he was Gatorade Maryland Boys Basketball Player of the Year as a senior. Anderson also earned first-team Washington Post All-Metropolitan honors for 2011-2012 and was named Most Outstanding Player of the Iolani Classic in Hawaii in December 2011. The Montross native is the son of Edward and Kim Anderson.

Doug Browman, University of Virginia
Position: Guard
High school: Montrose Christian School
This week: Saturday, Dec. 22, vs. Old Dominion
About Browman: Browman is a senior guard for the University of Virginia. He is a 2009 graduate of Montrose Christian School in Rockville, where he earned scholar athlete honors. Browman is from Midlothian and is the son of Doug and Barbara Browman.
