Montrose Christian School graduate Justin Anderson played for Virginia in its 63-61 loss at home to Old Dominion Saturday, Dec. 22, at Richmond Coliseum, the Virginia team's website reported.

Virginia's next game is 1 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 30 at home against Wofford.

Anderson is a freshman guard for University of Virginia. He is a 2012 graduate of Montrose Christian School in Rockville, where he was Gatorade Maryland Boys Basketball Player of the Year as a senior. Anderson also earned first-team Washington Post All-Metropolitan honors for 2011-2012 and was named Most Outstanding Player of the Iolani Classic in Hawaii in December 2011. The Montross native is the son of Edward and Kim Anderson.
