Montrose Christian School graduate Justin Anderson contributed six points in Virginia's 74-39 home win over Wofford College on Dec. 30 at the John Paul Jones Arena in Charlottesville, Virginia's website reported.

The University of Virginia freshman guard also recorded two rebounds, three assists and two steals for the Cavaliers, who improved to 10-3 on the season.

Virginia's next game is at 8 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 6 at home against North Carolina.

Anderson is a 2012 graduate of Montrose Christian School in Rockville, where he was Gatorade Maryland Boys Basketball Player of the Year as a senior. Anderson also earned first-team Washington Post All-Metropolitan honors for 2011-12 and was named Most Outstanding Player of the Iolani Classic in Hawaii in December 2011. The Montross native is the son of Edward and Kim Anderson.
