Williamsburg Regional Library events, Jan. 3-11

The Williamsburg Regional Library announced the following events from Tuesday, Jan. 3 to Friday, Jan. 11:

• On Thursday, Jan. 3 at 2 p.m. there will be an iPad for Newbies class. Classes have limited space and pre-registration is required. Call 259-7720 to register.

• On Thursday, Jan. 3 at 2 p.m. there will be a Madame Bovary screening. A district attorney takes pity on a homeless shoplifter and takes her home with him for the Christmas holiday.

• On Friday, Jan. 4 at 7 p.m. there will be an play called "Ordinary People." Lafayette High School students will reprise their one act play. It contains mature material that may not be suitable for younger audiences. The program is free and seating is on a first come, first served basis.

• On Saturday, Jan. 5 at 11 a.m. there will be an all ages storytime.

• On Friday, Jan. 11 at 5 p.m. teens are invited to come voice their ideas and opinions on teen library programs and services. Call 259-4050 or visit the adult services desk to register.

The Williamsburg Regional Library consists of the Williamsburg Library, at 515 Scotland, in Williamsburg, The James City County Library, at 7770 Croaker Road, in James City County and Mobile Library Services vehicles. The service area includes the city of Williamsburg, James City County and York County.
