South Carolina man arrested on rape charges

On Dec 23, 2012 Philadelphia Police arrested 36 year-old Tyrone Lamont Holloway, of South Carolina, on charges obtained by Williamsburg Police on Dec. 20, 2012, it was recently announced.

Holloway was charged with two counts of abduction, one count of rape, one count of attempted rape and one count of robbery stemming from two incidents that occurred in Williamsburg in 2001 and 2002,

According to the Philadelphia Police, "Holloway was returned to Virginia on Jan. 9 to answer these charges."

Dave Sloggie is the chief of the Williamsburg Police Department.
