Montrose Christian School grad Browman helps in Virginia victory

Montrose Christian School graduate Doug Browman played for University of Virginia in its 65-51 win at home over conference rival Boston College on Jan. 26 at JPJA in Charlottesville, the team's website reported.

Brownam recorded two rebounds, one assist and a steal for the Cavaliers, who improved to 14-5 on the season and 4-2 in the Atlantic Coast Conference.

Virginia's next game is 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 29 at home against North Carolina State.

Browman is a senior guard for the University of Virginia. He is a 2009 graduate of Montrose Christian School in Rockville, where he earned scholar athlete honors. Browman is from Midlothian and is the son of Doug and Barbara Browman.
