Lafayette High School graduate Art Crew scored six points in Virginia Wesleyan College's 68-65 home loss to conference rival Randolph-Macon on Jan. 30 at The Batten Center in Virginia Beach, the Wesleyan website reported.

Crew also recorded two assists and two steals for the Marlins, who are 13-6 on the season and 9-2 in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference.

Virginia Wesleyan College's next game is 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2 at home against Emory & Henry.

Crew is a senior guard for Virginia Wesleyan College. He is a 2009 graduate of Lafayette High School, where he was 2007-2008 Virginia Group AA All-State first team honoree and 2008 Virginia Gazette Player of the Year. The Williamsburg native, an accounting major, is the son of Arthur and Pamela Crew.
