Montrose Christian grad Browman contributes to Virginia victory

Montrose Christian School graduate Doug Browman played for the University of Virginia in a 58-55 win at home against conference rival North Carolina State University on Jan. 29 in Charlottesville, the University of Virginia's website reported.

The senior guard helped the Cavaliers improve to 15-5 on the season and 5-2 in the Atlantic Coast Conference.

Virginia's next game is 3 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 3 on the road against the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Browman is a 2009 graduate of Montrose Christian School in Rockville, where he earned scholar athlete honors. He is from Midlothian and is the son of Doug and Barbara Browman.
