Two Williamsburg runners complete Mt. Trashmore 6K

Two Williamsburg athletes completed the Mt. Trashmore 6K (Mud In Your Eye XC Series) on Saturday, Jan. 19 in Virginia Beach.

Anwar Blakely, 35, crossed the finish line in 34:20, and May L. Wake, 50, finished in 52:36.

Race organizers said 178 runners finished the 6K race, which began and ended at Mount Trashmore.

Robert Dinterman, of North Carolina, was the men's overall winner with a finishing time of 22:26, while Stephanie Aurel Ingalls, of Florida, was the winner in the women's category with a time of 24:30.
