Williamsburg runner completes Virginia Wesleyan 8K (Mud In Your Eye XC Series)
Williamsburg runner May L. Wake completed the Virginia Wesleyan 8K (Mud In Your Eye XC Series) on Jan. 26 in Norfolk.
The 50-year-old runner finished in 1:14:09.
Race organizers said 154 runners finished the 8K race, which began and ended at Virginia Wesleyan.
Eric Hack, of Cape Charles, was the men's overall winner with a finishing time of 30:48, while Christina Summer, of Norfolk, was the winner in the women's category with a time of 37:16.
